      Ask how to add a new hard drive EXT3

      for information on my hard drive :

      $ dmesg | grep ad

      Trying to mount root from ufs:/dev/ad4s1a</maxtor></seagate>
      

      I would add is

      ad6: 76318MB <maxtor stm380215as="" 4.aab="">at ata3-master SATA150</maxtor>

      mounted on the folder /hddtwo  ???  ???

      I am a beginner,

        EXT3 is a Linux filesystem, pfSense is FreeBSD. FreeBSD uses ufs/ufs2 most often.

        Adding an additional drive is not something that is supported in the GUI, but is possible if you know the right commands to use. The real question though is why are you trying to add another HDD? What are you hoping to gain from it? It's not something that even most advanced users need to do often if at all.

          Ouw…. thank you for suggesting
          80 GB that I use it only for the squid cache. if Mr. jimp suggest like it, I just follow the advice Mr.jimp.  ;D
