PPPoE client broken in new builds?
-
I know the first thing to do is to test on the latest BETA - I unfortunately do not have the luxury to do that. So instead this is a post to enquire on whether this is a known issue that was fixed/will be fixed or not.
I used pfSense-Full-Update-2.0-BETA1-20100511-1755.tgz, and with it I can dial up using PPPoE on my WAN link just fine using my ISP's username/password. I do not have any weird config - it is a straight WAN on PPPoE and LAN.
I then tried to upgrade to pfSense-Full-Update-2.0-BETA1-20100603-2033.tgz, and afterwards to pfSense-Full-Update-2.0-BETA1-20100608-0228.tgz, both which caused pfSense to dial on the WAN link and get an IP address, however no traffic was routed through the firewall. I could not connect from the LAN to the outside on any port, and I could not access any of the ports on the WAN IP such as the webconfigurator, SSH etc. Just downgrading to 2010-05-11 caused everything to work just fine again - no config changes between the upgrades/downgrades.
Any ideas?

I searched endlessly yesterday for any posts regarding the new builds - so I just missed it. Awesome, I feel better now, thanks.
