I know they can't need to be migrated. When I first realized booting was taking extra long because of it, I moved the old databases out of /var/db/rrd. Yet, a couple boots later without even downgrading it's migrating again. Is something migrating the databases and then still creating old ones? Is this a case where I should be wiping the router because some older package is still around making a mess?

i removed all old packages but it was still happening. i suspect an old package got orphaned (not visible) in the package system. i wiped the machine, installed anew, and the problem stopped.

The RRD databases are part of the base system, they aren't related to any packages.

Is this a full install or NanoBSD?
