There was a post about this a while back but it is locked.  The original post does offer somewhat of a workaround where you monitor the LAN interface, but it isn't sufficient for me to just monitor only what passes on the LAN interface.

I'm using squid and would like to see how much data is actually passing through the pfSense machine, instead of what is being pulled from squid (which is what BandwidthD will report if I monitor the LAN side).

Is there a way to get bandwidthD working with PPPoE connections, or an alternative package that does what I need?

Also, if this has been answered, I do apologize for the re-post.  Either my search terms suck, or there just isn't anything for me to find.

      Thank you!
