      Hey!
Ive been using pfsense for atleast one year, but I decided to become a member today. My "old" pfsense 1.2.3 box died yesterday, so from now on I'm using pfsense 2 beta3.

      Here is my problem:

OpenVPN is working (thanks btw for that awesome client-export utility), but I can't ping or access the clients in any way. Same thing goes for the client - no access to the remote network. On my old 1.2.3 box it was working perfectly, only with 1 client though.
If needed I'll post the config files.

      /Stefan Lindblom

It's probably missing a firewall rule under the OpenVPN tab (you couldn't filter OpenVPN on 1.2.3 so that is why it seems the same config didn't work)

Hi Stefan, you may create a gateway for LAN Interface (Menu System->Routing) with IP address of gateway is just the LAN IP address then assign this gateway to IP address of LAN interface. I used to be in the same situation with you. This may resolve your problem. I think it's not the primary way to do the job but in fact it's run in my pfsense 2.0 beta server. Sorry for my poor english and wish you luck Mr Lindblom! 8)

That should only be necessary for IPsec. With OpenVPN, routing is handled properly using the OS routing table. IPsec doesn't route the same way which is why that trick is needed.

Yes, Jimp. But I already add rules to allow OpenVPN client to connect any services in LAN subnet but it still doesn't work. Could you give us some reason and suggest some ways to correct this problem.

Thanks very much for reply soon.

I don't know what the problem with your install might be - this thread was for someone else. You probably have a different issue. Start a new thread with as much detail as possible about your OpenVPN configuration and someone might be able to help.
