      hello all

I am looking for assistance in getting the 1:1 NAT to work.
I have a phone system that does not support DHCP.  But it needs a public IP.
My ISP only doles out dynamic statics. :(

I have a pfsense with the public on the wan port. I then turned on 1:1 nat to the private IP on the voip card. 192.168.2.10

I thought I made the rules correct in stating any any on the lan out to the wan. And then on the wan back to the lan any any.
From reading in the forum I also set up the virtual IP of the public IP on the  wan.

So far no joy! Any help or suggestions.
I would like it mapped completely 1:1 Wan–--> Lan Host 192.168.2.10
I think from the lan out is working just not back in??? Thanks

You can't do 1:1 NAT if you only have one WAN IP. It doesn't work that way.

You just need to forward the appropriate ports to the unit, and perhaps set a manual outbound NAT rule to match its IP outgoing and select 'static port' on that NAT rule.
