      Hi

I am new on pfsense, but a bit familiar with FreeBSD.

I have installed pfsense ver. 1.2.3 on an Allnet FW8888+ appliance and it generally works great. But of course I will have a lot of questions.
The box has a lcd, which I think is of the model LCM-162. The documentation that came with the machine is very sparse. But there is a program called lcm_server_1.0.
Until now, I have only installed the lcdproc package, but cannot even start it.

I have found this link about the dispaly on FreeBSD:
      http://www.tecnowledge.net/2009/06/getting-lcdproc-to-work-with-an-lcm-162-freebsd/,
but I don't know if I have any chance of getting it to work.

      Any suggestions?

      Regards,
      Jon
