      Hello,
I've just finish to install a nanobsd on an Alix card (I work with pfSense for more than a year)
I would like to install some packages and make some customization… Is it possible ?

If I change this fstab :

      /dev/ufs/pfSense0 / ufs ro,sync,noatime 1 1
      /dev/ufs/cf /cf ufs ro,sync,noatime 1 1

      for this one :

      /dev/ufs/pfSense0 / ufs rw,sync,noatime 1 1
      /dev/ufs/cf /cf ufs rw,sync,noatime 1 1

Is it enought to have the ability to add features on my pfSense nanobsd ?

A limited number of packages which should work well on the embedded system are available for installation.  Once you are configured and up on the network browse the packages dialog and see if the packages you want are in the list.  If they aren't, they're probably not good candidates for embedded installs.

          Hi Submicron,
          Thanks for you answer.
I haven't still connect the nanodsd to the net, I'll do that today.

You probably give me the only answer possible… If it's not possible, it's not good for the nano...

I'll probably swith to a full install if the packages i'm looking for are not availables for the nano, even if it's acrobatic with an Alix card  :D

          Sorry for my English.
          Thanks a lot.

            Hum…  ::)

...all packages are availables. Don't need full install...

Next time I'll check before post... Sorry
