MIPS - Any updates

A long…long...time ago, in a universe, far...far...away - Oop', wrong story.
So, early last year, there was mention of using MIPS boards like the Ubiquiti RouterStation.
Did anything come of it ?
I don't see any more mentions of it since around December.
What's the news situation on the MIPS port.

Until MIPS is supported in FreeBSD it is highly unlikely you'll see it in pfSense, since it would require a major porting effort.

There is an alpha version available for the RS Pro, see devwiki.pfsense.org for info.
