The first one is the fact that if you are in a sub menu , the menu-bar don't highlight so that you can see where you are. For first time users, this can be very confusing and time consuming. :-\

        The second one:
The Root setup during the basic install - it is difficult. Do yourself a favor and install the new beta of IPCOP.
It is the most beautiful setup - so easy. No typing rl1 where you cannot see the difference between l or 1.
No trapping inside a setup option - you can easily back-out without being forced to go on and do all over again if you wanted to correct one mistake. Yes developers, do yourself and eventually all of us a favor and have a good look…
I see that FreeBSD has the same kind of setup - PLEASE break away. Other features on the setup are better on PfSense though. Good.

Or just use the skin "pfSense" where you don't have any dropdowns.

Of course you are free to make your own skin and share it with everyone else.

Try using the option "a" ;)

I am too Junior to design.
Also, I really want PfSense to be better on all aspects than everyone else. And above is my honest opinion, try it yourself to see…
