      Hi,

As the subject states, when unchecking "Enable IPsec" in the webGUI the racoon service dissappears under Status: Services but doesn't shutdown in the background (the tunnel is still up and passing traffic).

I have noticed this since early-July snapshots, today I'm on 2.0-BETA4-nanoBSD built on Sun Aug 8 11:22:28 EDT 2010.

I also have this message every 30 minutes (also since early-July, but I can't find any trouble with the tunnel during these messages): 2010-08-12 12:16:17: WARNING: unrecognized route message with rtm_type: 42010-08-12 12:17:00: DEBUG: DPD monitoring….

Should be fixed in the next snap.

Just upgraded to 2.0-BETA4-nanoBSD (i386) built on Sat Aug 14 04:50:33 EDT 2010.

The racoon service do shutdown now, but there is no log entry stating so under the view: Status: System logs: IPsec VPN.

Earlier there was no entries at all when IPsec was disabled under Status: IPsec, but now the tunnel is listed with status color yellow… new design?

I changed it to show a red X there instead if IPsec is completely disabled.
