    Pppoe gateway not appear after reconnect or reboot pfSense

      full install

      pppoe gateway not appear after reconnect or reboot pfSense on Dashboard and on Status-Gateways, on Status-Gateways-Getway Groupe status of gateway Unknown. This also happened if i disable pppoe interface and then enable again.

      If I resave Gateways, status change on online and gateways appear on Dashboard and Status-Gateways page.

      Last worked snapshot, for me, 13.06.2010

        i can report same problem. Every reconnect of pppoe interface marks gateway as unavailable. I need to edit some gateway in gateway list and it is up again. I am on the 14.08 snapshot, but this started to happend while ago.

            Ok…this is my log:
            On 17 Aug pppoe interface OPT4 has renewed ip address.
            I suspect problem is in static route that checks monitor ip because it has red status.
            Now I have 16.08 snapshot, multiWAN config and interfaces are all VLANs
            Little more diagnostic:
            After reconnect gateway is marked as down. Than I edit any gateway in routing page and after that, gateway is shown an up. But system still doesn't route through that interface. Only when I edit some of my routing groups, system starts to route through that interface. I need to do that every day  ;D

                  I have experienced this too.

                  The latest snap from today - August 17 has an additional bug too.  When I disconnect a PPPoE interface, I get a :

                  500 - Internal Server Error

                  when the page tries to reload.  I was only able to get my PPPoE to reconnect by going through the interface assignment PPP tab and clicking save on each of the PPPoE interfaces.

                  Also, it made me re-populate the Idle Timeout under Show Advanced options.  I have this set to 0 nominally.

                  I still had to go into each gateway to get them to show up as available again too.
