      I'm trying to enable traffic logs on squid, but i have a problem: avery time i restart the firewall i must go to the configuration page of the proxy and save the configuration, otherwise squid won't wave any access log!

      I have tested it both pfsense 1.2.2 and 1.2.3, and the behavior is the same.
      I configured the proxy acting as transparent proxy, and all the other configuration is factory-default.

      My lan is 192.168.0.1/24 with dhcp enabled
      My wan is 192.168.2.119/24

      I can access without problem to any sites.

      Also i'd like to log access to https sites, it is possible?

        I haven't seen that logging issue, but as for HTTPS, to log those accesses you need to configure the clients to use the proxy directly.

        You cannot transparently proxy HTTPS connections.

          I installed the package to patch /etc/rc issue and it seems resolve the logging problem. now i'm looking for a solution to monitoring https traffic!
