Hi I have Squid running and it's running ok but it doesn't open some site like support.microsoft.com for example.. it gives me this:

The requested URL could not be retrieved

      –------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://support.microsoft.com/

      The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name for support.microsoft.com
      The dnsserver returned:

      No Address records
      This means that:

The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct.
      Your cache administrator is xxx@xxx.xxx.

      Any ideas ?

If i stop the squid from running on that interface it's working ok and the site can be opened.

It's funny, when I used your link I got the same thing. I typed it into the browser…same thing. I then went to the microsoft website and clicked on support(which gives you the same address) and it worked fine. I went back and clicked on your link and it worked fine.............Maybe the site was just down for a moment...try it now.

Well if i start running Squid again i can open the site but it's nod loaded correctly missing style and stuff. After a couple of minutes it won't open at all. Disable Squid and it's opening like the wind…

OK there is definitely something wrong with the SQUID. After checking the Internet Options -> Connection -> Lan Settings -> Automatically detect settings check the problem with support.microsoft.com was "OK" BUT if Squid is running i have super slow connection to youtube.com like site http://www.vbox7.com If i turn off Squid it's fast like a wind… I know the site is in Bulgarian language but can someone check if everything is ok their systems ?

Sorry pal, but that site was REALLY SLOW TO HELL on my connection even WITHOUT squid, it takes YEARS to open up, maybe you could try something else not so dawn slow to test it.
