Hi - I would love to install gkrellmd (the daemon which can be queried from other machines) on pfSense (1.2.3). I realize that this is not a package available from the webgui. Since I'm a total newbie to freebsd (and probably also unix/linux), I wanted to ask a few questions before I screw things up:

I guess I should use the freebsd packet manager "ports" to install a packet? But which one? If I understand the ports website correctly, there is a gkrellm2 package which should contain gkrellmd. I don't think, though, that any package relying on gnome libraries will work on pfsense?

      Thanks.

pfSense 2.6 on Super Micro 5018D-FN4T (retired)
