From where can i download compiled driver broadcom tg3 ?
I'm trying to install pfsense on dl120 g6 and i can't make the onboard nic card to work.
it's broadcom tg3 .
I dont have frebsd installed so i cant compiled driver.
If you haven't already tried pfSense 2.0 BETA (can be downloaded from http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/i386/pfSense_HEAD/updates/?C=M;O=D) I suggest you do so. It includes the most up to date FreeBSD NIC drivers. A quick scan of the FreeBSD hardware release notes (http://www.freebsd.org/releases/8.1R/hardware.htm) didn't show tg3 but it might be known by another name.
The developers consider pfSense 2.0 BETA not yet production ready but a number of people report that it works satisfactorily for them.
Thanks for your reply,
I new in pfsense & freebsd, in other forum I got answer that i should go to :
sysinstall -> post install -> network configuration
it is relevant to pfsense ?
Thats FreeBSD installation. pfSense installation is different from FreeBSD installation. For pfSense installation go to the pfSense home page and follow the documentation link to the documentation Wiki and/or the Tutorials and you will see both Tutorials and Wiki articles on Installation (and other topics that are likely to be useful).
