Reproducible; I applied the update and got a panic. So I reinstalled, loaded a config that enabled the ath0, and got a panic.

Backing out to a home-built kernel with the current config (and indeed what should be the current patches as my git repo is up to date as of Friday morning) and it's fine.

If I find a few minutes I will investigate further, but the only ath I have is in real hardware and I needed the router back.

i386, with the 2259 iso or the 2322 img.

Panic should be fixed on the next new build (which is going now). Should up be in a few hours.

              Excellent. What was the issue?

Ermal said it was this patch:

                https://rcs.pfsense.org/projects/pfsense-tools/repos/mainline/commits/9cd87ec21eaafd714eae016adcbdcd64d38bbd7d

But we'll know for sure once the new snapshots are up.
