I have an Axis webcam on 192.168.1.50 that is port forwarded in PfSense and that works great. I can access the web cam from internet with a dyndns account, also updated by PfSense. Problem is it won't work more than a few days and then I have to reboot PfSense and everything works again for a few days. Seems like the webcam is the only affected unit. What should I look for? It does not have anything to do with dyndns and IP's.

Do you have some sort of proof of this beyond your assertion?

My external IP does not change and the webcam IP is accessable within the subnet all the time. It simply stops letting this traffic through the router. Other traffic is not affected as far as I know.

I have a recollection I have seen something like this reported some time ago in these forums. I suggest you search the forums for webcam or camera to see if you can locate it.

              Gredd,

I have many (more than 80) Axis cameras going through a pfSense box without any issues. I can't promise anything, but I would like to assist if possible.
Which Axis model are you having trouble with? Which Axis firmware version is it running? Which version of pfSense are you running at your location?

Its a 207W but I don't have the firmware version at hand right now. PfSense box is a 1.2.3 and I'm about to try the 2.0 beta, mostly for the traffic shape stuff but maybe it solves the web cam issue too.
