I created some aliases in the firewall rules section and when I create a FW rule, they don't show up in the dropdown list.  What is the point of them?  Can they be used in a different way?

They aren't supposed to, type them in on any red background box and they'll auto-complete.

Maybe they aren't supposed to in pfSense 2.0, but most other firewalls do that.  Can we get that added as a feature?

Then maybe you should use an other firewall?
(Or open a bounty to get this feature added :D )

We do what we must, because we can.
