Using the Soekris 4801-48 for the hardware, I am worndering if anyone has been able to configure the Wan link as the Sprint 3G/4G USB U300 modem. I am looking for what drivers you used and any tips on how to build this..

I can use the 1.2.3 or the 2.0 base, as the deployemnt is all experimental.

      TIA –

There seems to be quite a range of USB 3G modems supported in pfSense 2.0 BETA though I don't know about the specific modem you mentioned. See http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Configuring_3G_modems for configuration procedure and download a snapshot build of pfSense 2.0 BETA from http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/i386/pfSense_HEAD/updates/?C=M;O=D
