Is it safe to install listed packages in 2.0?

Hi,
there a lot of packages available for 2.0 where it says in the status pane that it is for version 1.2.3. Why are these packages shown then? Is it still safe to install them on 2.0 or should I wait till the final 2.0 is released and every package is upgraded?

I would think you should only install the 9 known working packages listed at http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tFSe4gIfr3P0Nr1uYLxCHdw&single=true&gid=0&output=html. That way you know they'll work.

Many more than that are likely to work but just haven't had updated confirmation from those testing them.
