This have been done on DD-WRT but I can't find how-to for pfsense. I'm wondering if it's possible to setup ad blocking with PixelServ? http://proxytunnel.sourceforge.net/pixelserv.php

This would actually make for an interesting plugin (and one I'd may be willing to partially fund if you could integrate it with the AdBlock Plus lists).

        I can break anything.

Does squid + squidguard work on pfSense NanoBSD?

            I can break anything.

It does, as long as you do not try to use it for caching, but only for access control. Ad blocking should work with the right blacklists.

I would like to see someone find a way to incorporate PixelServ as it's much lighter than squid + squidguard. What if someone want to do caching and blocking ads… this will not work.

If you want to do caching, you need a full install not an embedded system running from a CF.

EDIT: My earlier reply was to jasonlitka's question about NanoBSD, not to the main topic of the thread. That may not have been clear before.

Hmm…  Interesting.  I think I'll play around with that this weekend at home.

heh, what I've done is configure SquidGaurd to redirect to ext URL, and that URL is:

                      http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c0/Blank.gif

Not the most elegant…but kinda the same thing!
