Pfsense 2.0 Beta4 does not show any package to install

Hi,

I recently installed the PFSENSE 2.0 Beta4 7th oct 2010 release from install ISO.
After the installation when I wish to install squid packages from the package menue page. It does not show any packages in the list and an error messga eis shown saying that it cannot access www.pfsense.com and make sure that PFsense is having working internet connection.

However My PFSENSE box is having a working internet connection and Pfsense clients can also access internet via the Pfsense box.
Also when I try to update my PFsense installation to the latest available updates from the autoupdate page, it downloads the update but gives an error after the download is complete, the error message is "This image is not digitally signed" and "Update cannot continue"

Please Help.

There is a check box (Allow updating the system with auto-updater and images with no signature.) on the "updater settings" tab that you need checked in order to install the pfSense updates.
With the update to the pfSense box, I hope that helps resolve your internet connection issues with the package system.

Aside from DNS, check under System > Routing and make sure you have a default gateway.
