      This may be a realy bumb idea but….

      Is it posible to use the monowall firmware upgrade utility to install the PFSense img on a CF card over the top of the monowall image (i dont mind to much if the config breaks)?

        That won't work, however you can backup your config.xml from the m0n0 and upload it to the pfSense again. The parts of the file that are compliant with pfSense will be used, other parts (like traffic shaper for example) will be stripped.

          Thanks for that I was trying to avoid having to take the firewall apart to change this box to PF

          guess I will have to take it to bits then
