      Dear all,

I am using Pfsense 1.2.3 DHCP enabled behind 4mb DSL modem. At first i find it gives poor performance in browsing after some time. In start, it was working fine but after some time it started lagging. Secondly, the main problem I am facing is DHCP. I don't know what's wrong with it? It works fine for almost a week but after that time it doens't assign IP to my windows based clients. If i give static IP on client side i remain unable to access internet services. Please help me out regarding these issues as its DHCP server is getting on my nerves. I am having most clients of windows xp based and some are using vista and seven too.

Your support will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

      Regards,

Have you looked in the DHCP server log? (Web GUI: Status -> System logs, click on DHCP tab)
You should see DHCP REQUESTs and ACKs (or error reports).

Not a DHCP issue then, unless you have the DHCP server set to only allow certain clients in an 'allow' list.
