Hello. I've been trying to get my livecd to install into the ide hdd but always get the same error.

      I tried 1.2.3 and 2.0.

Everything runs fine until I enter the 99 option.

When I select easy install or custom install I get an error telling me that there is no hard disk suitable for installation (at boot time the loader recognizes the disk0 correctly).

      Any ideas are welcome.

If you can, we'd need to see the full output of "dmesg" or contents of /var/run/dmesg.boot to see what hardware was detected.

The output of "pciconf -lv" as well as "camcontrol devlist", "atacontrol list", and "usbconfig" ("usbdevs" on 1.2.3) would be helpful as well for determining hardware.

          Problem solved.

The problem was the jumper of the hard disk (WD4000).
The jumper was set for master with slave but it is alone disk so I changed it and voilá.

          :)
