      Hi,
I'm in the process of setting up an ALIX Box as a pfSense Router for a smaller SoHo-Network (5 regulars and some wireless guests from time to time) and I'd like very much to use Layer7 filtering for that, since P2P Traffic can really block this whole thing up and some clients change ports regularly (I know I could get around this without Layer7).

At this point I'm struggling with the interface (I think). Searching around I found this post and the attached Image suggest I should be able to filter the traffic into the appropriate queue. However on my box the only available action is to block traffic.

I'm using pfsense 2 BETA-4 (last update about 2 hrs ago)

You need to configure queues before using them in layer7.
Usually run one of the wizards.

Sorry I should have clarified that, I do have some queues already, it's pretty much the vanilla configuration you get with the single WAN, multi LAN wizard.

Same here, as always have been with any 2 Beta snapshot or whatever. Doesn't mind what I do, the only available action is to block traffic. That's why I don't try L7. It would be nice if it worked as expected.

you would not believe the view up here

This seems to be a bug, then.

Maybe somebody in the know cares to comment?
