    Hi,

    To resume:

    • I have an Alix 2D2
    • Using a CF Card, pfsense works well
    • I want to add a hard drive to store files for squid / havp activity.
    • Hard drive is empty without any partition

When I plug the hard drive, pfsense fails to boot.

In the Bios settings, I tried to mix with "HD Wait" and/or "HD Slave" or none of them but nothing works so far.

    Any hint ?

My Hard Drive is a Sata-one. I have a IDE > Sata converter. My reseller told me I have to use PIO4 if I want to use the converter with FreeBSD.

What about PIO4 in Pfsense ?

Somehow solved : my reseller just told the that the IDE > Sata converter force the HD to be set as master. As the CF cannot be seen as a slave, I just can't do this way.
