I just installed the beta version 2.0 and in 1.2 I had 2 vlans set up on the "LAN" ethernet card. It worked perfectly in the old version.

in 2.0, after I create the interface and it shows up in the menu, I drop down to select it and it always selects the "WAN" instead of the "OPT1" which is what the vlan is called and what I am picking. The only way to set up the ip is to do it under the console. After I set it up and go to dhcp, it still won't list the device it states it must have a static ip which I had to setup under the console. Not sure what the issue is but I figured i would post it, and in the mean time probably just deal without the vlans as they aren't really needed.

also… it won't let me select the OpenVPN interface after I set up the server and added it. It defaults to the "WAN". So to be clear after you go to the drop down and select "Opt2", you think you will get the settings for Opt2 and it instead selects the "WAN" so you have no way to set the name for the interface or set up the IP for the vlan interface.

        Anyway...

also the version I had running was...

        2.0-BETA4 (i386)
built on Sun Nov 7 05:11:10 EST 2010

        FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p1

I am going to revert back to 1.2...

Looks like there was an issue with one of the commits made over the weekend to fix a security issue. It should be fixed after the commits that just happened. It should be fixed in the next new snapshot dated after this post.
