      This problem occured when I auto updated to latest snapshot pfSense-2.0b4-20101108-1204. I also downloaded the iso live CD to re-install fresh and also get the same error.

            I too tested 2 snapshots x64 released 9 nov both are broken. Confirmed

              There has not been a new snap since Ermal's post. One is finishing up now and should be uploaded before too long. That is the one that should be fixed.
