    DELL FX160 and pfsense 2.0

      Just an FYI
      I saw this topic http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=16471.0
      and wanted to say that I did successfully install pfsense 2.0 on my DELL FX160.

      The onboard Broadcom NIC does work with pfsense 2.0.
      I used a TrendNet USB for the external nic which works in pfsense 1.23 and 2.0.

      Issues

      • static IP did not work , DHCP worked fine
      • The box would "freeze" and no longer pass traffic.. a reboot cleared things.
      • The box currently has 512 RAM but I have ordered an additional 2Gig and will try again with the latest snapshot.

      At that time, I will be testing again,.

      Edit:  My DELL FX160 does "not" have wireless..
