CARP Failover problem with one physical pfsense and one vmware

A small introduction :)
Ouccchhh after few day across the web to search a solution to have a carp running due to problems with Vphere4 and because i've redondancy on the vswitch with 2 uplinks to my network…

The problem...
Carp is fully running, configs syncrho, one is master (vmware) and other is backup (a atom box).
I've two virtuals IP, one for the WAN, one for the LAN
But when i disconnect WAN network card on the VM, the LAN stay as "master" on the VM and the WAN become as master on the other pfsense... and routing failed on the network, how i can do for both virtual ip swith on the backup pfsense ?
