      Hi to all,

I setup pfsense for 2 WAN, 3 VLAN and 1 LAN. This is may example of my set up.

I have one windows 2008 server act as domain controller, file server and DNS Server for LAN 2. And this Windows 2008 Server also act as Domain controller and Filer server for VLAN 3 Network.

My problem are the Network connectivity of VLAN 3 to Windows 2008 Server are very slow. When I try to open file and save it via network drive. It very slow. But when I ping windows 2008 on VLAN 3 Network the ping response are 1MS.

This is my config on pfsense.

Thanks for any advice. I need to resolve my issue.

What kind of hardware is the pfSense box?

What speed are the network interfaces and the switch ports?

And what is "very slow"? You need to measure the speed of the file transfer somehow so it can be determined what kind of speed is involved.

          Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The pfsense box are dual core and 2 GB memory.

Maybe I try again my config. I think the issue are related on DNS part. Thanks for the reply.
