      ping_hosts.sh
      What is this script doing?
      My cron settings:

      There is no ping_hosts.sh in /etc.
      True path is /usr/local/bin.
      Is it necessary change path in cron, delete string

      */5  	*  	*  	*  	*  	root  	/etc/ping_hosts.sh

      from cron settings or leave it as is?

        It looks like that may not be needed.

        /usr/local/bin/ping_hosts.sh is actually run by minicron, not cron, and is setup in /etc/rc directly.

        The cron entry you are seeing isn't there at all in 2.0.

            You can delete the entry you see, it is not used.
