      Hi guys,

      I have a mail server behind a pfsense fw at home. I would like to know if there is a way to configure to be authenticated by pfsense prior of accessing the mail servers gui. i dont like the any rule on the WAN.

        There is not.  Authentication should be handled by the MTA, not the firewall.

          Or setup a VPN so you have secure access to anything internal. OpenVPN, IPsec, PPTP, etc.
