Only internal router / remove WAN
-
Hi,
I want to use pfsense only for internat network routing. I need three LAN interfaces. I have an alix board and after installation one interface is bound to WAN and I can not remove it.
Is there a possibility to remove the WAN and use it as a regular LAN interface ?Regards

Under Advanced system settings, you can disable NAT. That will turn the box into a pure non-gateway router.

Ok, thanks. Without NAT the WAN interface is just a regular LAN interface ?

Without NAT, the interfaces are just interfaces regardless of the name. You can perform policy based routing or even bridge them.

No that's to disable the filter. It also disables NAT, but that's not what you want if you only want to disable NAT. For that, see:
