VLAN isolation of ips on Snort Alerts

Hi,

Looking into Snort package road-map i saw

VLAN isolation of ips on Snort Alerts

I think it will be great idea implement this feature into package , today actually we have VLAN ISOLATION based  on Packet Fence www.packetfence.org which is good product ,but add it into Snort package will do centralized it into  edge firewall would save complexity and servers will be great value add.
