      installed pfsense snapshot :

      2.0-BETA5 (i386)
      built on Fri Jan 14 17:53:04 EST 2011

      success on instalation, we can connect to internet from pf engine, installed squid, squidgueard. arpwatch… and created voucher for client...

      the client can connect, voucher is okay...but in few menit later the hotspot is gone and we must unplug the wifi radio and plug in again so the client can connect again... then happening again in few menit, the hotspot is gone again...

      we have record on syslog :

      php: : Hotplug event detected for wan but ignoring since interface is configured with static IP (22.22.22.1)

      ip wan : 22.22.22.1 ---> hotspot client
      ip lan : 192.168.0.254 ---> internet

        That seems a bit odd WAN should be Internet with the captive portal on the LAN or an OPT interface.

        Never underestimate the power of human stupidity

          well…. it could be the problem ... hmmm...

          if suppossed to be that way then it will my miss understanding... because i always use the WAN as the hotspot interfaces... and the LAN as the internet interfaces...

          hope anybody can confirm me that configuration, because it can be connected to internet and from client but give me problem that always been disconnected...

          regards...
