Looking for mirrors I found this:

      "Chris Buechler Says:
      December 27th, 2009 at 4:29 pm

ESX server that hosts the snapshots purple screened of death earlier, been back up for a while now. There is also a snapshots mirror at http://files.chi.pfsense.org/snapshots/ "

Alas, that is crashed / broken as well  >:(

P.S. Hope they are not preparing a RC with so many new bugs this week  ???

      @danesco:

Oh my god what a bad luck, can somebody upload a recent snapshot? im far away and forget the cd's and can not download server down :( Or it will be fixed soon?

Don't worry, be happy. I can not see that one of the coders will put a rc to the world if that beast is still that wild as it is at the moment.

The PFSENSE snapshot server has wobbled back to its knees.  ::)

As of this writing three snapshots for today are up.

Can anyone say if the lockup problems on the builds of this week have been addressed in today's build of 22 January  ???

And are the 64 bit builds also affected by the lockup bugs?

(i386) 22 January build isn't available yet. Updated to Fri Jan 21 19:22:57 and gave it a go. FTP Connections are still highly radioactive; killed my machine with the first dose.

Well, the day is almost over after the PFSENSE snapshot server meltdown this morning and it is still wobbling along with only three nano whatever snapshots for the 22 January.

No word from the developers on what blew up their snapshot sever and no update on the lockup issues.

Maybe the build for today is as radioactive as the past couple days  ::)

Who will try it first it and see if it blows up their machine  :D

                      Thanks. What a Royal screw-up  >:(

Can someone please open a new thread maybe "All Clear" when this mess has been untangled?

The developers should put up a link to the last known good Snapshot.

I am running Sat January 15 snapshot 64 bit with no problems. I will dig around and see if I kept the i386 version of January 15 and load that up on the other box.

In the last twenty minutes I have managed to update twice and things appear normal enough.
