Does anyone use the BlockHosts script from ACZoom.com?

I just found this an was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with the script. I have plans on testing if it works well but not sure if someone may have some advise. Thank you.

Edit: My mistake it looks like you need a plugin like: http://www.snortsam.net/
This looks like it'd be a lot lighter than Snort anyway. Interesting.
