      i am thinking to install the 20.beta and just thinking weather the 1.2.3 backup will work for 2.0 or i have re configure the 2.0 from scratch ?

        It should work fine - if it doesn't, let us know, and if possible, provide your configuration file so we can fix any bugs.

        Upgrading is supposed to be as seamless as possible (that's what we aim for) but unless people give us copies of their configurations (before and after upgrade) when they have a problem, it's hard to track down a fix.
