      Hi,
We are in the process of setting up a tanberg video conf system - I need external clients to be able to connect to the using polycom PVX client or similar - at present when dialing in the call is recoginsed by the tanberg kit & when the call is picked up the tanberg kit thinks its connected however the client just keeps ringing - when the call hung up on the on the internal tanberg kit the client recognised this & stops ringing.
I have tried both port forward & 1:1 NAT with the same results for both - I've also opened all TCP & UDP port to test but again the same result
anyone have an idea on this ?

      thanks

        gnh,

have you made sure to configure NAT also on the endpoint itself?

          hi gnh,
I'm having the same issue. I have a tandberg system behind pfsense 2.0RC1 and even after I allow all ports on "rules" section the NAT udp streams Hit the wan interface and gets dropped somewhere inside pfsense. I can see the packets on WAN side but no packets gets through the firewall and  there is nothing in the logs. Udp packets can go from LAN to WAN but  are dropped from WAN to LAN .

Did You Find a work around this ??

            Fitopy,

what type of H323 gatekeeper/SIP registrar is the TANDBERG device registered to?

What specific type of TANDBERG system is this, and what software is it running on?
