Hi Guys went and shelled out on a new 2915ABG wireless card for my alix box as it is fully supported in bsd.

From what I just read at freeBSD's website, this card isn't exactly plug and play. You need to install a port for the firmware, which is a freebsd thing, I'm not sure how well ports will mesh with pfsense. (I know pfsense is based on freebsd, but like any distro not everything carriers between nicely)

FYI- iwi doesn't support hostap mode, so that can't be an access point.

Well thats really anoying.. Do we have a list of cards that work with minimal effort, that support hostap ?
