      I adapted /var/etc/mpd.conf to my needs.

      Now - whenever I restart my pfSense, mpd.conf gets "substituted" with a standard one - thus loosing my configuration.

      How can I modify the "master template" file?

        Edit the correct file in /etc/inc

        Which files I do not know off the top of my head and I will leave this as a challenge for you to figure out.
