Help with traffic shaper

hi, i hope anyone of you can help me, i want to implement thaffic shaper ( single lan multi wan ), i've read the official how-to, but it's incomplete and the explanation is not clear, please anyone can tell me how to use the traffic shaper, which is the function of each tab (by interface, by queue limiter, layer7), and how to make it work, thanks a lot
