Do pfsense have any kind of mirror server for EU users?
If so, how can i change my pfsense so that he downloads the 2.0 updates from that server?

It isn't so that my internet is just slow (VDSL 25/3.5 and VDSL 30/4.5) but downloading the pfsense 2.0-beta 5 update takes about 7 minutes for only 90MB of data…

If i can support pfsense with a mirror server in Belgium (EU), please let me know!  I have a server in Bruges with a 100mbit connection and plenty of HDD space :-)

hostname for traceroute or ip tests : s01.be.it2go.eu

The snapshots are not mirrored. Only the official updates are mirrored.

I don't think there is any kind of mechanism in place to mirror the snapshots, and since they change so often, and we sometimes delete them if they're bad, I'm not so sure it's a good idea.

I can give you access to a VPS system where you can run rsync and/or ftp if you want to delete the bad snapshots…

Still sounds like way too much work for things like temporary snapshots that don't get downloaded enough to tax the bandwidth… :-)

The only thing i can do is offering it to you :-)  As as i said : bandwidth isn't a issue.  But i was wondering why it took about 7 to 10 mins to download the snapshot :)
