I have 2 computers in a production environment I am  using carp on them. What is the best procedure to follow to upgrade to 2.0 to minimize downtime?  They have multiple interfaces both wan and lan and also a couple of vlans.  I also use openvpn and Ipsec.  My thinking was to do the update to the secondary first then after it is backup disable carp on the primary.  Make sure everything is working through the secondary then update the primary when complete re-enable carp.  Does this sound right.

That's usually the best procedure, upgrade the secondary, try it out for a bit, and then upgrade the primary if it went well.
