Is there a way to monitor LAN Devices, such as wired Access Points, in pfSense? The gateways I used to use have a LAN Device monitor page which polls the devices to see if they are up. If they are up it says OK, if not it says FAIL and there is a link that allows you to access the device.  Does anyone know of anything similar to that, that would work with pfSense?

you can try freebsd package/port monit but there is no support for it since its not a pfsense package. It can be setup to send email alerts…
