      Hi,

Just want to inform you that after installing the last update release Mar 10 for 2.0 RC1 the snort and squid packages that I just installed before the updates been removed.

I did installed the 2.0 RC1 March 8 and after the installation I installed the snort and squid packages everything seems working until just today coming from my pfsense dashboard that updates available for download, so I installed it and boom snort and squid is gone after the updates.

      Thanks.

That alone doesn't tell us much. Check your router's console for any boot messages about the package reinstallation during the upgrade. Something must have caused the package reinstall for those to fail.

Thanks Jimp, It just happen that the re-installation is not done yet when I checked the snort and squid status. So it's all good now.
