      Hi guys,

      I been think for a long while, i was thinking to register a class c public ip. Then i applied to my isp line. Which my isp told me cannot do so. At first i was thought to give up. But reconsider again i think it will work in such way please advice if i am wrong or there are a better solution. Below is what i thought;

      Apply Static line from isp with at least 3 public ip. Two for Public DNS just for domain service and another one is for routing. For example 175.200.###.## (ISP PUBLIC IP) route to 202.20.###.## (MY OWN PUBLIC IP)

      If now i at another ISP PUBLIC IP let say 165.201.###.## i do a traceroute to 202.20.###.## would i able to find 202.20.###.## via 175.200.###.##? Once again need expert to resolve my mystery. :)

        If you have your own IP block/AS you need to have an arrangement with your ISP to route that block to you, either directly or by BGP peering. There is no way to put your own block of IPs on your network and have it work without having the requisite upstream routing in place.
